Will never forget the days of you babysitting my sister Janelle and I in the Summers at your house, The great times at family events, And was always there for "Grama Ann" at our house growing up as she battled with Cancer. Those memories will never be forgotten. "Aunt Mary Lou", you will be sadly missed but always know that God, the greatest gift of all, has great plans in mind for you.

The loss is unbearable, but the memories are sweet, as I share your pain and sorrow, I will always be there with you.

I remember Aunt Mary Lou from day one. She was always cheerful, sweet, and so much fun. She treated us as "people" rather than "kids" when we were growing up, and I will never forget that. She was our go-to family wedding singer - no wedding was complete without her beautiful voice. I am very proud to be wearing the Burkholder genes, and will always say that with a smile! Thanks for being who you were, AML.

Aunt Mary Lou was the last of the nine Burkholders to leave us - she was a beautiful lady, inside and out! She will be greatly missed by the multitudes she called family! She was also my namesake!
