My sympathy to Bert's family. Bert was my neighbor for a number of years and I've truly missed his smiling face and cheerful words since he moved to the nursing home. He was a very sweet man and I feel blessed to have known him.

Dear Folk Family- I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed talking to Bert at Valley View, as he was my dad's (Ed Yoder) roommate. Sometimes I would bring them both a milkshake, which he enjoyed. I think Bert was a very sweet man; I know he and my father enjoyed each other's company. He will be missed.

I am so so sorry to hear of your daddy's passing. I have such great memories of him. He always gave us candy in church!!! He always had a hug and a smile ready for anyone who needed it. He was loved by many people and I am sure he wont be forgotten. I hope the Lord brings you peace and I know this family is strong as long as you are together!!!! With my thoughts of Vonnie and Connie, sorry I can't be there, didn't know Bert very well, but I do know he was gentile as someone else said, Prayers for the family, knowing he is with the Lord, gives you peace. GOD Bless You.

WHEN VISITING BERT OVER THE PAST HE HAD A TESTIMONY THAT JESUS WAS HIS SAVIOR. WHEN ONE LEAVES THIS LIFE THERE IS NO GREATER COMFORT THAN TO KNOW A LOVED ONE BELONGED TO THE LORD. MAY YOU ALL REJOICE IN THAT FACTOR. PRAYING YOU ALL MAY KNOW AND ENJOY THE SAME EXPERIENCE IN CHRIST THAT OUR FRIEND AND YOUR LOVED ONE KNEW. BLESSINGS ON ALL THE FAMILY.
