William A. Goss, Sr.

William A. Goss Sr., 78, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. 

Born Jan. 3, 1942, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Howard and Agnes (Klumic) Goss.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; two sisters, Mariam Varner and Wanda Benner. 

He is survived by; wife, Dorothy M. (Clark) Goss, whom he shared 61 years of marriage; children, Betty L. Mundy, of Burnham, Tena M. Goss, of Lewistown, William A. Goss Jr. and wife, Nykki, of Milroy; seven grandchildren, Lindsay, Katie, Doug, Amy, Kelsey, Erin and William III; six great-grandchildren, Quin, Quay, Lance, Patrick, Eli and Ember; two siblings, Betty Glick, of Dry Valley, and Pat Wisehaupt, of Lewistown. 

William was Methodist by faith. 

He attended Lewistown High School. 

Earlier in life, William worked at Mann Edge Tool Company and he was a Vice President of American Hickory where he later retired. 

William was an avid hunter and fisherman making many hunting and fishing trips to Canada and out west. 

A viewing will be held from Noon to 1 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2020, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, with a funeral service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. John Walters officiating. 

Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
