Virginia Decker Obituary

Virginia L. “Jennie” Decker, 54, of Burnham, passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020, at her home after battling cancer.

Born Aug. 30, 1965, in Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Lane Wachob and Jean (Rabedeaux) Whitaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a daughter, Alicia Marrie and a grandson, Carter Dean Adams.

She is survived by: husband, Steve Decker, of Burnham; children, Jonathan “JD” Dean Adams and wife, Emma, of Selinsgrove, Linda Wise and husband, John, of Coal Township, Jake Decker, of Granville, Loir Jones and husband, Bob, of Liverpool, Mike Ritter and wife, Tammy, of McClure; grandchildren, Lillianna, Alina, Jorden, Brody, Christian, Leland, Alicia, Jake Jr., Brittany, Nathaniel, Eric, Brian, Tyler, Brian, Samantha, Kira, Michelle and Cody; Many great-grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter, who they raised, Miah Dawn Decker; siblings, Teresa Pascuzzi, of Arkansas, Debbie Martel and husband, Benny, of Wisconsin, Carol Decker, of Kentucky, Norman Wachob and wife, Debra, of Nevada.

Virginia was a Southern Baptist by faith.

She was a graduate of Ashford University where she received her Associate of Arts degree.

Jennie worked at Valley View and PRN Medical Staffing.

Horses were her passion and she loved singing and dancing.

Per her request, no services will be held.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
