Twila Mae Morgan

Twila Mae Morgan, 80, of Lewistown, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at UPMC Medical Center in Altoona.

Born July 22, 1942, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Margaret (Groce) Shirey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Morgan who passed in Dec. 1980, and a sister, Virginia Pollock.

She is survived by: daughters, Cassandra Spickler and husband, Douglas, of McVeytown, Kimbra Longwell and husband, William, of Lewistown, Stacy Krepps, of Mt. Union, and Kelli Burns and husband, Todd, of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Ryan Spickler, Joe Spickler, Jessica Shade, Brittany Longwell, Brandi Franks, William Longwell, and Tyler Krepps; four great-grandchildren, Katlynne, Bryce, Devan, and Axel.

She worked at Fisher’s Electronics and Artistic Industry where she retired.

Twila was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and attended Pine Glen C&MA church, and she was a member of the Lewistown Moose.

She enjoyed going to Casino’s, watching Penn State Football, and was an avid Wal-Mart shopper. She enjoyed being outside gardening her flowers and watching the hummingbirds. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2022, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with a funeral service to follow at 3 p.m., with Rev. Daniel Stegman officiation.

Interment will take place at Lind Memorial Cemetery.
