Shelby J. Rhodes

Shelby J. Rhodes, 83, of Reedsville, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born October 9, 1937, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Audrey (Lyter) Peters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; a brother, Marvin Peters.

She is survived by; husband, Lester R. Rhodes; daughters, Debra Rimmey and husband, Barry, of Kansas and Linda K. Rhodes, of Milroy; two grandchildren, Dustin Rimmey and wife, Emily, of Kansas, Brandon Rimmey and wife, Laura, of Kansas; six great-grandchildren, Toby, Ainsley, Charlie, Logan, Landon, and Audrey; sister, Dorothy Wheeler; and a cousin, Bonnie Day, who was like a sister.

She was a Brown-Armagh High School graduate.

Shelby loved being with family and going on picnics. She loved all animals especially her dog, Izzy.

No services will be held.
