Robert Elwood Crotsley Sr., 67, of Iowa, formerly of Lewistown, passed away, Friday, Aug. 11, 2020. Born Dec. 11, 1952, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Elwood and Frieda (Whitsel) Crotsley. He is survived by: sons, Robert Elwood Crotsley Jr. and wife, Buffy, and Charles William Crotsley III and wife, Angela, both of Lewistown; two granddaughters, Alicia Crotsley and Clarissa Crotsley; five great-grandchildren, Blake West, Sophia West, Farrah Dalton, Elizabeth Dalton and Vivian Guyer; brothers, Richard Crotsley, and spouse, of Arizona, Howard Crotsley and companion, of Lewistown; many nieces and nephews in Arizona. Page: 1 Robert was a 1970 Lewistown High School graduate. He was a United States Army 11B1P Airborne Infantryman. He was part of Company C 2nd Battalion 325th Infantry from 1975 to 1977. Robert retired from T.C. Daubert Trucking. Earlier in life, he enjoyed going golfing. He liked to go bowling and being outdoors fishing. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. A receiving of friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 1st Avenue, Burnham, with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m., with special military services provided by VFW Post 7011 and Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
