Richard C. ‘Dick’ Wilson, 85, of Yeagertown, passed away, Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Locust Grove, in Mifflin.
Born July 31, 1935, in McClure, he was a son of the late William A. and Clara E. (Fultz) Wilson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, three brothers, Eugene, Paul and William H. Wilson; and a sister, Erma M. Lucas.
He is survived by; wife, Yvonne M. ‘Bonnie’ (Bodtorf) Wilson, whom he married on October 29, 1956; four children, Richard B. Wilson and wife, Melanie, of Harrisburg, Susan Y. Wilson-Bell and companion, Dale K. Casner, of Lewistown, Kelly L. Wilson, and wife, Denette, of Yeagertown, Lori A. Bitner, and husband, Gregg, of Milroy; four very special grandchildren, Tyler and Lauren Wilson, and Allison and Aaron Bitner; and one great-granddaughter, Alexa Hunter; and a brother, Gerald L. Wilson and wife, Gwendolyn, of Yeagertown.
Richard was a member of the Yeagertown United Methodist Church.
He attended school in Derry Township.
Richard worked for U.S. Steel, in Morrisville and later at the Standard Steel in Burnham, for 15 years. He was self-employed until he retired.
Upon retirement, he loved to travel, spend time with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be sadly missed.
Per his wishes, no services will be held.
