Obituary

Pamela L. Shimp, 63, of Lewistown, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Robin Evans.

She is survived by her parents, David Bishop, of Castle Hayne, North Carolina, and Louella (Kline) Bishop, of Lewistown; husband, William R. Shimp; children, Erica Hartlaub and husband, Toby, of Littlestown, and Garrett Shimp, of McClure; two grandchildren, Cullen, and Alaric.

Pamela was a Lewistown High School graduate, Class of 1978. She later went on to receive her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.

She was employed as a receptionist at Joe Krentzman and Sons for 23 years. She worked in childcare for Panda Preschool and Daycare at New Life Church and for the Mifflin County School District.

Pam loved her family and her animals, she enjoyed spending time with friends, going camping and to the beach. She loved watching football and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Services are private and held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
