Mary Louise (Mowery) Reeder

Mary Louise Reeder, 74, of Burnham, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at her home.

Born Oct. 8, 1946, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Mary E. (Patton) Mowery. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Nelson Mowery. 

Mary is survived by: husband, Dennis Reeder, whom she married Dec. 22, 1966; children, Chris Reeder and wife, Stephanie, of Lewistown, and Mandy (Reeder) Zook and Eric Zook, both of Burnham; and grandchildren, Madelyn and Lydia Reeder, and Lincoln and Kinley Zook.  

She was a Chief Logan High School, Class of 1964 graduate. 

Mary worked as a sales clerk for a number of retail stores.

She was a life member of the Burnham Volunteer Fire Company.

Mary loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, working crossword puzzles, crocheting and going to casinos.  She was also a Celtic Thunder fan. 

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, May 10, 2021, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Avenue, Burnham, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Dick Williams officiating.   

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to the Burnham Fire Company, 205 North Beech Street, Burnham, PA 17009.
