Mary J. Criswell

Mary J. Criswell, 97, of Reedsville, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021, at Elmcroft of Reedsville.

Born January 23, 1924, in East Lansdowne, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Ann (Gilmer) Goldhorn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; her husband, William M. Criswell Sr., who passed in 1997; a son, John C. Criswell; and a granddaughter, Nicole.

She is survived by; children, William M. Criswell Jr. and wife, Terri, of Yeadon, Daniel R. Criswell and wife, Patricia, of Springfield, Louise Zebley and husband, Joe, of Ridley Township; eight grandchildren, Michael, Billy, Ashley, Arielle, Nicholas, Danny, Jason, and Danielle; a sister, Louise Laurino, of Glenolden; and a sister-in-law, Donna Billett and Willie, of Reedsville.

She was a Lansdowne-Aldan High School graduate.

Mary was a member of the Yeagertown United Methodist Church, she was a very active church member.

A receiving of friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, September 24, 2021, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, PA 17009, with a memorial service to follow at 1 p.m., with Rev.Steven Small and Rev. Thomas Morningstar officiating.

Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
