Lee E. Gilbert

Lee E. Gilbert, 81, of Lewistown, passed away March 4, 2023, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born on August 9, 1941, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Paul W. and Mabel  (Harris) Gilbert.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Judy Ann Gilbert, who passed on June 11, 2022; and a sister, Anne Rosensteel.

Lee is survived by; children, Kelly Esh and husband, Ken, of Belleville, Vicki Cosden, of FL., Douglas Goss and wife, Sue, of Yeagertown, and Kevin Gilbert, of NJ; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was a graduate of Chief Logan High School, Class of 1959.

He was a member of the Yeagertown Fire House.

Lee retired from Tenneco Plastics where he worked as a machinist, and he later retired from Overhead Door where he worked in inventory control.

He was an avid woodworker and carpenter.

Services are private and held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of the Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
