Larry E. Swartz, Sr.

Larry E. Swartz Sr., 61, of Lewistown, passed away at 8:56 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at his home.

Born Feb. 24, 1959, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Russell Swartz and Florence (Leacy) Kreider.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dave Swartz.

Larry is survived by: his wife, Lisa (Horn) Swartz; children, Larry E. Swartz, Jr., of Lewistown, Melisa Swartz, of Beaver Springs, Daniel E. Swartz, of Lewistown, and Rose M. Swartz and companion, Andrew Corkins, of McVeytown; five grandchildren, Kenton, Izabella, Baylee, Ryder and Bryson; and siblings, Merv Swartz, of Danville, Barry Swartz and wife, Jodi, of Md., Brenda Coble and husband, Jack, of Honey Grove, and Tammy Colyer, of Lewistown.

Larry was a 1978 graduate of Juniata High School.

He was employed as a machine operator at Ames Tru Temper.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
