Josephine M. Kurtz

Josephine M. Kurtz, 89, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Brookline Manor in Mifflintown.

Born October 2, 1933, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Jennie M. (Snook) Kurtz.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brothers, Tyrus V. Kurtz, John E. Kurtz, Blake E. Kurtz, and Donald S. Kurtz. Josephine was the last of her immediate family.

She attended Lewistown C.M.A. Church.

In her younger years, she worked at Empire Kosher.

Josephine enjoyed visiting her friends. She loved her cats and was known for being a very kind lady.

A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M,  on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Lind Memorial Cemetery with Earl Pete Weaver officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
