Evelyn F. (Specht) Frutchey

Evelyn F. Frutchey, 92, of Lewistown, passed away at 9:45 a.m., Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Ohesson Manor.

Born March 2, 1929, in Lumber City, Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late George and Florence (Henry) Specht.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Blaine Frutchey; children, Donna VanBillard and Mark Frutchey; and eleven siblings.  She was the last of her immediate family.  

Evelyn is survived by: children, Carrol Rose and husband, Russell, of Lewistown, Kenneth Stitt and wife, Carole, of Newport, and Christine Reside and husband, David, of Lewistown; stepdaughter, Vicky Rishcoff and husband, Chris, of Kutztown; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was a waitress at Green Gables for many years.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main Street, Lewistown.

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 30, at the Funeral Home, with Pastor John Gelnett officiating.

Interment will take place at Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
