Dorothy M. Marker, 86, of Lewistown, passed away in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Friday, January 1, 2021, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born November 14, 1934, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Samuel G. and Belva I. (Miller) Davis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; a son-in-law; Gary Baitsell, daughter-in-law; Jo Ann Marker, brother-in-law; David Lynn; and a great-grandson, Jaxon Pennington.
She is survived by; husband; Jones J. Marker, of Lewistown; children, Jeffrey Marker, of State College, Kim Marker, of Lewistown, and Gale Baitsell; sister, Shirley Lynn, of Mattawana; two granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; one great-great-grandson.
She was a member of Big Valley Bible Church.
Dorothy was a 1953 graduate of Burnham High School.
In her earlier years, she worked as a dental assistant for Dr. George Schiller, then retired from Dr. William Goss's office, after a total of 37 years in the field.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Big Valley Bible Church, 139 W. Railroad St., Reedsville, with Pastor Jeff Hartzler officiating.
