Connie J. Ort, 64, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born December 8, 1956, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Gene G. and Vivian M. (McKnight) Bedlyon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Atticus Collins.
She is survived by; daughters, Rachel Collins, of Burnham, and Tabitha Hoy and fiancé, Jason Drake, of McVeytown; seven grandchildren, Bo Lee Duke, Cheyanne Duke, Zoe Hoy, Steven Hoy Jr., Arie Hoy, Aidin Collins, Kamden Hoy; one great-grandson, Theodore Traxler; two great-grandchildren on the way, baby Traxler and baby Hoy; siblings, Diane McCalips and husband, Robert, of Lewistown, Shirley Bedlyon, of Lewistown; two Aunts, Carol Maben, of Reedsville, and Pat Underhill, of Middleburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Connie was a 1974 graduate of Chief Logan High School.
She attended Ellen Chapel Church.
Connie worked at Peachey’s Meat & Bakery and at Walmart in the meat and produce departments.
She enjoyed her morning coffee all day long. She also enjoyed playing on the computer. Connie loved her family. She especially loved to go on train rides with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham.
A second viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, October 18, 2021, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with a funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Mark Hill officiating.
Interment will take place in Ort Family Cemetery.
