Obituary
Colleen D. Collins, 97, of Belleville, passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at Celebration Villa of Reedsville.
Born Oct. 5, 1924, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Charles C. and Catherine L. (Cutler) Kearns.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husband, Walter D. Collins; sister, Shirley J. Kearns; and daughter-in-law, Esther Collins.
Colleen is survived by: son, Scot K. Collins, of Lewistown, granddaughters, Holly Dalby and husband, Erin, of Chesapeake, Va., and Kelly Varner, of Burnham.
She was a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church, Burnham.
Colleen was employed as a handbag and hosiery buyer for the former Glick’s Shoes in downtown Lewistown.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at Lind Memorial Cemetery, Green Avenue, Lewistown, with Pastor Christopher Lutz officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in Colleen’s memory to Walnut Street UMC, 203 N. Walnut St., Burnham, PA 17009.
Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main Street, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
