Clinton Waters III Obituary
Clinton Carroll Waters III, son of Clinton Carroll Waters and Alice Seney Waters Blalock MacLean passed away May 29, 2022, peacefully in Lewistown, PA at age 90.
He was a graduate of Calvert and Gilman School, in Baltimore, MD, Class of 1950. He played football and was active in the Drama and Glee club.
He later served in Germany with the 11th Airborne Division in the United States Army as a lieutenant responsible for troop movements and logistics.
He also worked for a number of years as an Investment Banker. Later, Clinton enjoyed working in Lewistown at the Amtrak train station and loved piloting small planes.
He is survived by his four children, Darby Hopkins Waters Moyer, Robert Garrettson Waters, Courtney Griffith Waters Maury, and Ashley Waters Gunderson, and blessed by six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Carroll is also survived by his niece, Tara Waters Lumpkin. His longtime friend Peggy Ruble did a wonderful job caring for him in his final years.
A celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at The Church of the Redeemer in Baltimore.
