Carol A. (Williams) Hartman, 68, of Lewistown, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Dec. 19, 1951, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Betty (Kelly) Williams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Williams.
She is survived by: her husband, John R. Hartman III, who she married June 25, 1983; children, Alicia Elliott Sheppard and husband, Peter, Joshua Hartman and wife, Melisha, and Lucas Hartman; four granddaughters, Zoe, Paige, and Ally Sheppard, and Josie Hartman; siblings, Richard Williams and wife, Wanda, Stephen Williams and wife, Marcia, Paula Pierce and husband, Daniel; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Carol was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a 1969 graduate of Lewistown High School. She was employed by: Brugler and Levin Law office, Danks and Company, and most recently the U.S. Post Office.
The family was especially important to her. Her children and grandchildren were her number one priority and she was always there to help anyone in their time of need. Her generosity will always be remembered.
A receiving of friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. June 19, 2020, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a memorial service at 7 p.m., with Rev. Randy Hughes officiating.
Private interment will take place at Lind Memorial Cemetery.
