Barry M. Kinslow, 71, of Lewistown, passed away at 2:21 a.m., Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at his home.
Born Dec. 27, 1949, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Harry A., Sr. and Margaret J. (Truscott) Kinslow.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kim F. Kinslow.
Barry is survived by: his wife, Candace L. “Candy” (Miller) Kinslow, whom he married Nov. 18, 1967 and they were blessed to share over 53 years together; daughters, Michele Huffnagle and husband Robert, and Amanda Fisher and husband, Bradley, both of Lewistown; grandsons, Clayton Kochenderfer, of Loganton, and Colin Fisher, of Lewistown; and siblings, Harry A. Kinslow Jr. and wife, Kathy, of Glen Burnie, Md., Terry W. Kinslow, of Freeburg, Christine Forsythe and husband, Cliff, and Merle E. Kinslow, both of McClure.
He was a graduate of Chief Logan High School, Class of 1967.
He worked in the family’s construction business, Kinslow Construction, and lastly, for the Mifflin County School District.
He was a member of the Lewistown Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 143.
Barry enjoyed fishing, hunting with his grandson, Clayton, hanging by the pool, mowing grass, and watching Penn State football and NASCAR.
Per his request, there will be no services.
Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
