Vivian M. Bedlyon, 81, of McVeytown, passed away on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born June 11, 1937, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late David W. and Emily (Morrow) McKnight.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene G. Bedlyon, who passed in 1997; one great-grandson, Atticus Collins; five brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by daughters, Connie Ort, of Lewistown, Diane McCalips and husband, Robert, of Lewistown, Shirley Bedlyon, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Rachel Collins, Tabitha Hoy, Kim Vanhorn, and husband Shawn, Tyler McCalips, Alan Bedlyon, James Bedlyon; 12 great- grandchildren; siblings, Carol Maben, of Reedsville, Pat Underhill, of Mifflinburg.
Vivian was a member of Ellen Chapel Church.
She worked at Empire Kosher and Peachey’s Meat Market. Vivian liked to do embroidery and quilt for family and friends. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee and cards. She loved cooking big family dinners to feed the whole family.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with Pastor Mark Hill officiating.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19, 2018; and from 10 to 11 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park Cemetery.
