Steven Zerbe Obituary

Steven K. Zerbe, 66, of McClure Borough, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019, at his home.

Born Sept. 5, 1952, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Kenneth E. Zerbe and Jean (Wray) Young and husband, John W., of McClure, who survive.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Christopher Wilson.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, Steven is survived by: his sisters, Holly Wilson and husband, Richard, of McClure, and Wendy Price and husband, Daryl, of Lewistown; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a great-great niece.

Steven graduated from West Snyder High School, Class of 1970.

Early in life, he worked in construction for R.A. Marker & Sons, and later, did painting and drywall installation for Orvis Long Painting.

He enjoyed hunting and was a member of Shade Mountain Hunting Camp.

A viewing will be held from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m., with Reverend Clark Kelsey officiating.

Interment will take place at Mount Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
