Sharon M. Ream, 72, of Lewistown, passed away Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born March 19, 1947, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Harold Powell Sr. and LaRue (DeArment) Powell.
She is survived by: children, Denise M. Ream and Shawn Ream and wife, Christine, both of Lewistown; grandchildren, Jessica Ream, Anna Ream and Gavin Ream; great-grandchildren, Kaden Ream, Dresden Amspacker, one on the way Kai Ream; and a brother, Harold Powell Jr. and wife, Kay, of Mifflintown.
She was a Lewistown High School graduate, Class of 1965.
Sharon was a member of Grove Memorial Church.
Earlier in life, she worked for James F. Havice Inc. She retired from Kmart as a hardlines department manager after more than 20 years of service.
She enjoyed going to auctions, finding antiques and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. She was an avid sports fan, especially for Penn State football.
A receiving of friends will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m., with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
