Mary Elizabeth Pettis-Brill

Mary Elizabeth (Kreider) Pettis-Brill, 45, formerly of Belleville, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

Born July 14, 1974, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth E. Kreider, and Vickie R. (Ross) Stroup.

She is survived by: her mother, Vickie R. (Ross) Stroup and companion, Ron Carrington Sr., and a step-father, David Stroup, of Belleville; children, Johnathyn Ross Klinger, of Lewistown, Jordan Michael Klinger, of Mifflintown; siblings, Stephanie Watson and husband, Al, of Williamsport, Brandy Nicole Kemmler Kovach, of Mt. Union, Jebidiah DS Stroup, of Belleville, Jackson Dylan Stroup, of Mifflinburg, Davenia Mechele (Stroup) Yoder and husband, Josh, of Belleville; many nieces and nephews, and a niece that was the love of her life, Harlow Jade Stroup Yoder.

She was an Indian Valley High School graduate, Class of 1992.

Mary was a member of the New Life Church.

Prior to her illness, she was employed at PRN Warrior.  She also worked as a drug and alcohol counselor, in Philadelphia.

She loved the Lord and left everyone know it, she was proud to be a child of God. She loved to sing gospel music and had a beautiful voice. Mary was a very loving person with a big heart. She was the kind of person who never met a stranger and treated everyone as a friend. She was the kind of person that would give you anything you needed.  Christmas was her favorite time of the year.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, October 21, 2019, at New Life Church, 101 N. Beech St., Burnham, PA 17009, with a funeral service to follow with Pastor John Walters, officiating.
