James “Jim” B. Kingston, 78, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018, at his home.
He was born on April 26, 1940, in Lewistown.
Jim was the son of the late Joseph W. Kingston, M. Dorene (Yetter) Kingston, and stepmother, Frances “Tanny” Kingston.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Molly A. Fuller, and his grandson, Carl F. Dye.
He is survived by: his wife, Christie M (Freed) Kingston, of Lewistown, they shared 25 years of marriage; children, Darwin L. Kingston, of Lewistown, Michael J. Kingston and wife, Darlene M., of Mifflinburg, Joseph R. Kingston and wife, Robin L., of Harrisburg, Wendy Bagrosky, of Reedsville, Traci A. Fye, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Natalie, Jacob, Angela, Matt, Josh, Joey, Trevor, Jenna, Michael, Jessica and Chad; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Joanne Baker, of Lewistown, and Linda Grumbine and husband Richard, of Harrisburg.
Jim attended Lewistown High School. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator and later worked at HRI, where he retired.
He enjoyed hunting, camping, trains, antique machinery and flying planes. He enjoyed friends stopping by the garage and hanging out.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., (Woodlawn) 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
A private graveside service will be held at Juniata Memorial Park and held at the convenience of the family.
