Jack K. Zimmerman, 81, of Lewistown Borough, passed away at 8:29 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born March 21, 1938, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Ira and Fairy (Kise) Zimmerman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a son, Scott K. Zimmerman; his brother, James Zimmerman; and sister, Joyce Hetrick.
Jack is survived by: his wife, Marjorie (Leonard) Zimmerman, whom he married Aug. 16, 1958; three children, Andy Zimmerman, Julie Carolus and husband, Tim, both of Lewistown, and Joe Zimmerman and wife, Lori, of Harrisburg; and four grandchildren.
Jack most recently attended Walnut Street United Methodist Church in Burnham. He previously attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Lewistown.
He was employed at Beaver Brothers Bakery, as a machinist at International Peripheral Systems and COMCO, Burnham, at Marriott Food Services and he retired from Walmart as a stock clerk.
Jack enjoyed woodworking, gardening and mowing grass.
A viewing will be held from Noon to 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2019, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Chris Lutz officiating.
Interment will take place at Lost Creek Presbyterian Cemetery, McAlisterville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jack's memory may be made to Walnut Street United Methodist Church, 203 N. Walnut St., Burnham, PA 17009.
