Helen Gay Casner, 64, of Lewistown, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born June 13, 1954, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Donald E. and Helen (Wagner) Casner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna J. Casner, and siblings, Shelva D. Sweitzer, Mabel “Jo” Cooley, and Donald S. Casner.
She is survived by: companion, William Ray Wolfley, of Reedsville; daughter, Tara L. Wagner, and husband, Brian, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Kelly Casner, Jace Wagner, Holden Wagner, Morgan Wagner, and Kenidee Van-Brunt; and sister, Donna “Mickey” Casner, of Lewistown.
She attended Lewistown High School.
Helen was a member of Lake Park United Methodist Church.
In her earlier years, Helen worked for Overhead Door, where she had 19 years of service with the company. She was a bingo enthusiast and her favorite television show was NCIS. Her family was the love of her life and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2019, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
A second viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019, at the funeral home, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Karen McCachren officiating.
Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Helen’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Road, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
