Harold E. Deamer

Harold E. Deamer, 87, of Yeagertown, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at his home.

Born Aug. 8, 1931, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Luther H. and Laura A. (Klinger) Deamer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Barbara Jean (Lucas) Deamer, March 21, 2018; a son, Eric E. Deamer, in 2018; a sister, Arlene Shehan; and stepmother, Ethel Cora (Lightfoot) Deamer, in 1995.

Harold is survived by: sons, Monte L. Deamer and wife, Mindy, of Reading, and Brent E. Deamer, of Lewistown; daughter-in-law, Heidi Deamer, of Beaver Springs; five grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle, Laura, Brandon and Derek; three great-grandchildren, Linzee, Quinn and Jessen; and a sister, Betty Sigler, of Mount Holly Springs.

He graduated from Lewistown High School.

Harold retired from Standard Steel as an electrician at power station 2 with almost 50 years of service.

Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.

Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
