Geraldine A."Polly" Sellers

Geraldine A. ‘Polly’ Sellers, 76, of Lewistown, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born October 16, 1943, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Lewis A. and Elsie A. (Fye) Bedlyon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald L. Sellers, who passed in 1991; a son, Keith R. Sellers; siblings, Howard ‘Manny’ Wilson, Hayden Bedlyon, Gene Bedlyon, Isabelle Hutchinson; sister-in-law, Vivian Bedlyon; and brother-in-law, Homer Hutchinson.

She is survived by: son, William D. Sellers, Sr. and wife Candi, of Lewistown; step-daughters, Connie Dreese and husband, Dan, of McAlisterville, Annie Bayshore and husband, Rick, of New York; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Catherine Bedlyon, of Lewistown.

She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, in Burnham.

Earlier in life, Geraldine worked as a nurse’s aide at Zents Nursing, Valley View, William Penn, and CRA Home Nursing.  She also worked at Scottie’s Fashions for a short time.

She enjoyed knitting and other crafts, reading, and watching old John Wayne western movies.  She loved being around family, especially her grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 8, 2019, at Church Hill cemetery, 4241 Old US Hwy 322, Reedsville, PA 17084, with Rev. Bernard Carpenter officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Burnham.
