Geprge H. Specht

George H. Specht, 84, of Lewistown, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at Ohesson Manor.

Born Oct. 30, 1934, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Charles E. Specht Sr. and Mildred (Hackett) Specht.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his brothers, Charles E. Specht Jr., Paul Specht and Robert Specht.

He is survived by: his wife, Joyce Ann Specht; daughter, Georgia L. Yeater; granddaughter, Abby Krepps and husband, Jason; great-grandson, Chase; and brother, Richard Specht.

George was a graduate of Lewistown High School, Class of 1954.

After high school, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1958.

In his earlier years, he worked at the Postal Supply and later as a bartender at the Brooklyn Fire Co.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and especially fishing.

Per George’s wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
