Faye "Dolly" Johnston

Faye “Dolly” Johnston, age 86, of West Des Moines, Iowa (formerly of Lewistown, Pa.) died peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Dolly was a devoted homemaker who raised her four children. She worked various retail jobs and in senior home care. She moved from Pa. to Las Vegas, Nev. to be near family, and enjoyed playing the slot machines. Six years ago, she moved to Iowa, again to be near family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Dolly is survived by: her son, Bob Johnston, and wife, Michelle, of Milo, Iowa; two daughters, Laurel Johnston of Norwalk, Iowa, and Tami Krajcsik of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; a daughter-in-law, Margaret Johnston of Las Vegas, Nev.; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: a son, Michael James Johnston; her former husband, Clement E. Johnston; three brothers, Gene, Bruce, and Marlin Warner, of Lewistown; and a sister, Mildred Simpson, of Lewistown.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at Lind Memorial Cemetery, Green Avenue, Lewistown.
Hoenstine Funeral Home, Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
