Evelyn P. (Hummel) Rosenberry

Evelyn P. Rosenberry, 83, of Lewistown, passed away at 3:34 a.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Nov. 22, 1935, in Burnham, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred (Cunningham) Hummel.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Fuhrman and Anna Kelly.

Evelyn is survived by: her husband, William E. Rosenberry, whom she married Feb. 2, 1958; a sister, Margaret Morgan, of Lewistown; and a niece, Sharon Price.

She graduated from Burnham High School, Class of 1953.

She was a member of Burnham Church of The Brethren and Women of the Lewistown Moose Family Center 143, Chapter 212.

Evelyn was employed as a sales clerk at McCrory's Department Store for 42 years before retiring in 1997.

Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham.
