Donna Jean (Truscott) Truscott

Donna Jean Truscott, 75, of Yeagertown, went to be with her Heavenly Father, at 7:40 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born Dec. 20, 1943, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Marvin C. and Genevieve (Shehan) Truscott.

Donna is survived by: her siblings; Thomas C. Truscott and wife, Susan, of Arnold, Md., Barbara Hammer and husband, Leon, of York, and Rodney R. Truscott and wife, Mary, of Gettysburg; a niece, Jessica Truscott, of Angleton, Texas; nephews, Mark and Matthew Piersall, both of Frederick, Md.; and lifelong friend, Kathy Kinslow, of Baltimore, Md., whom she considered her second sister.

She graduated from Edmondson High School in Baltimore.

Early in life, Donna was employed as an insurance underwriter.  Later, she was a medical transcriptionist and worked in many physicians' offices.

Donna was past Grand Matron of The Order of The Eastern Star in Savage, Md.  After returning to Mifflin County, she attended Yeagertown United Methodist Church.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at Yeagertown United Methodist Church, 7 N. Mann Ave., Yeagertown, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Reverend Rachel Horst officiating.

Interment will take place at Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Donna's memory may be made to Yeagertown UMC, 7 N. Mann Ave., P.O. Box 409, Yeagertown, PA 17099.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
