Daniel D. Bradley, 68, of Burnham, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at his home.
Born June 5, 1950, in Burnham, he was a son of the late Earl D. and Marian (Combs) Bradley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David E. Bradley.
He is survived by: his sons, Matthew S. Bradley, of Milroy, and Daniel M. Bradley and wife, Marie, of Spring Mills; grandson D.J. (Daniel M.), who lit up Daniel's life; sisters, Donna Roseberry and husband, Randy, of State College, Diana Comly and husband, Richard, of Georgetown, Del.; beloved sister-in-law, Dottie Bradley, of Burnham; and nieces and nephews, Laura Shutt, Mike Roseberry, David Bradley, Danna Bingman, Jonathan Comly, Alison Comly, and Jennifer Joseph.
Daniel graduated from Chief Logan High School, Class of 1968, attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, then served in the Navy from 1970-1974 as an electronics mechanic, E-5, with the Patron Five Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Fla. He was also in the Navy Reserve.
He was employed by Lewistown Hospital in the biomedical engineering department, retiring in June 2015.
Daniel enjoyed sopending time with his sons and grandson, was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and loved fishing with his best friend, Mark Wray. He was handy with tools, enjoyed fixing things, and could always be relied upon to help whenever needed. He was also known for his dry sense of humor and quick wit.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m., at the funeral home, with Rev. John Walters officiating.
