Cynthia A. Auman, 70, of Derry Township, Lewistown, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born Aug. 9, 1948, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Wayne Sr. and Katherine (Clark) Shingler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Shingler Jr.
Cynthia is survived by: her husband, Arthur W. Auman Sr.; son, Robert E. Kise, of Lewistown; stepson, Arthur W. Auman Jr., of Lewistown; granddaughter, Sophie Kise; step-granddaughter, Cherish Auman; and siblings, Linda Fowler, of Cottondale, Fla., and John Shingler, of Panama City, Fla.
She was a graduate of Lewistown-Granville High School, Class of 1966.
In her earlier years, Cynthia was employed as a seamstress at Scotty's Fashions, where she did garment repairs.
She cherished her grandchildren and enjoyed crafts and crocheting.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown. The memorial service will begin at 7 p.m., with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
