Carolyn C. Snyder

Carolyn C. Snyder, 68, of McClure, passed away March 8, 2019, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born Jan. 8, 1951, she was a daughter of the late William J. Groce Sr. and Clare L. (Stoner) Groce.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: siblings, William Groce Jr., Marlin Groce, Ralph Groce, and O’Neil Groce.

She is survived by: her husband, whom she married in 1969, David A. Snyder; children, Julie Snyder, of Lancaster, and Jeffrey D. Snyder and wife, Heather, of McClure; siblings, Gary Groce, of Granville, Linda Groce, of Huntingdon, Sharon Groce, of Lewistown, and Rick Groce, of Granville; and grandchildren, Dorinda Benner, Zackary Snyder and Zane Snyder.

Carolyn was a 1969 graduate of Chief Logan High School.

She enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. She also enjoyed doing yard work and gardening. She loved her grandchildren.

Per Carolyn’s wishes, there are no services.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, Lewistown.
