Brian Edward McCaffrey

Brian Edward McCaffrey, 62, of Juniata Terrace, Lewistown, went to be with his Lord and Savior, at 5:42 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, at his home.

Born Oct. 31, 1956, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Edward J. McCaffrey Jr. and Leona (Corbin) McCaffrey.

Surviving are: daughters, Erica Miller, of Brandon, Fla., and Chandra McCaffrey, of Lewistown; their mother, Susan Stuter and her husband, Greg, of Reedsville; three grandchildren, Lindsay Miller, of Fla., Claudia Holbrook, of Lewistown, and Daphne Palmer, of Todd, Pa.; a great-grandchild, Haven Garrett, of Fla.; and brothers, Bradley McCaffrey and wife, Ellen, of Lewistown, and Curt McCaffrey and wife, Elizabeth Moreno, of York.

Brian graduated from Rothrock High School.  He earned two bachelor's degrees from Lock Haven University and later received a degree in ministry from Liberty University.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

Brian was very active at Light Ministries Church in Strodes Mills, where he enjoyed leading people to the Lord.  He had a compassionate heart and was always willing to help others.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, at Light Ministries Church, 181 Caldwell Hill Road, Lewistown, with Pastor Ronald Nipple officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Brian's memory may be made to Light Ministries Church, 181 Caldwell Hill Rd., Lewistown, PA 17044.
