Beverley K. McCurdy

Beverley K. McCurdy, 77, of Lewistown, passed away at 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2018, at Geisinger Hospital.

Born Dec. 17, 1940, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Albert M. and Pauline Ellen (Myers) Wagner.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Gene Miller.

She is survived by: husband, Jack Darwin McCurdy, whom she married on Dec. 5, 1959; children, Mitch McCurdy and wife, Tina, of Lewistown, and Marta McCurdy, of San Jose, Calif.; grandson, Michael McCurdy; and great-granddaughter, Mikenna McCurdy

She was a current member of McVeytown Presbyterian Church; she previously attended Shrader Methodist Church.

Beverly was a Kishacoquillas High School graduate, Class of 1958.

She worked as a patients account manager at Lewistown Hospital for 25 years.

A receiving of friends will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018, at McVeytown Presbyterian Church, with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m., at the church, with Rev. Scott Andrews officiating. Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., is in charge of arrangements.

Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
