Amanda L. “Mandi” Wiebner, 39, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:07 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12, 2018.
Born Aug. 19, 1979, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Jess Bowersox and the late Paula (Speck) Wright, and stepfather, Robert Wright.
In addition to her father and stepfather, she is survived by: grandfather, Harold Wright, of McClure; siblings, Jason Wright and wife, Rose, of Lewistown, Eric Bowersox, of Lewistown and Zhamauri Wright, of Lewistown; and her cat, Midnight, whom she loved.
She was an Indian Valley High School graduate, Class of 1999.
She attended Evangel Baptist Church.
Mandi was employed as a Walmart greeter and she worked for a short time in Burnham as a telemarketer. She was a member of the Brooklyn Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary, Make a Wish Child and March of Dimes Poster Child in 1982. She was also a Special Olympics gold medalist in floor hockey.
She was a Steelers fan and loved going to the beach, camping and fishing. Some of her favorite movies were Footloose, Grease and Dirty Dancing, and she enjoyed watching the Hallmark movies.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Rev. Bill Howe officiating. There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Mattawana Cemetery, at 8 a.m., Friday, Nov. 16, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Amanda’s name may be made to the Special Needs Center, 31 S. Dorcas St., Lewistown, PA 17044 or to the Evangel Baptist Nursery, 375 W. 5th St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
