Almeda O. Grassmyer

Almeda O. Grassmyer, 84, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019, at her home.

Born March 7, 1935, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Eva (Sheaffer) Dupert.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Grassmyer, who passed in July 2017; a son, William Grassmyer; and all her siblings, Margaret, Edward, Alice, Richard, Albert, Russell, Leroy, Fred, and Edith.

She is survived by: a granddaughter, Heather Robinson, and husband, Rich; and six great-grandchildren, Tie Carrington and wife, Jordan, Akzavier Carrington, Kyroon Carrington, Kahlyl Carrington, Raneesa Robinson and Khalelah Carrington; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Center Union Church.

Almeda loved gardening and tending to her beautiful flowers. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time outside. She was dedicated to her family and loved her husband, son and grandchildren very much.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2019, at Mount Rock Cemetery, with Pastor Travis Habbershon.
