Willis Luther Goss, Jr.

Willis Luther Goss Jr., 60, passed away at 1:46 a.m., Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital after a brief illness.  

Born Jan. 28, 1955 in Lewistown he was a son of Willis Luther Goss, Sr., of Reedsville, and the late Rosie (Peterson) Goss.

In addition to his father he is survived by: his sister Constance (Connie) McMinn (husband Kirk) of Lewistown; his two sons, Brendan J. Goss (wife Lisa), of State College, Nicholas B. Goss (wife Lauren) of Lititz; and his companion, Regina Giarratana, of Lewistown.

Willis graduated from Mansfield University in 1976 and was a member of the Lamda Chi Alpha fraternity.

Willis was an avid car lover.  He was a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club, Keystone Region Chapter.  He was a key contributor to preserving the Annual Studebaker Swap Meet in Reedsville, PA. Most Saturdays he could be found with his 1955 Studebaker Conestoga at the Weekly Cruise-In. Will passed along his passion for cars to his two sons. He was an artist and enjoyed drawing.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 3 at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., with Rev. Paul Mortimore officiating.

A viewing will be held from 6 – 8 pm. Weds., Sept. 2 and from 10 – 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
