Thomas E. Pandel, 71, of Burnham died at 4:29 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born Aug. 7, 1943 in Lewistown he was a son of the late J. Fred and Evelyn (Ernest) Pandel.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and William Pandel and a sister, Lois Ann Rodkey.
Thomas is survived by: his wife, Judith Anne (Kirk) Pandel whom he married on Nov. 27, 1963; his children, Michelle Yetter and husband, Scott, Scott Pandel and wife, Jodi, both of Lewistown, Greg Pandel and wife, Peggy, of Milroy, and Melissa Tate and husband, Shawn, of Burnham; a brother, John Pandel and wife, Betty, of Yeagertown; 11 grandchildren, Scotty Yetter, Delania Ward, Damian Yetter, Derek, Justin, Dylan and Koltin Pandel, Kendra Stydinger, Katlyn Stydinger, Tyler and Zachary Pandel; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was a Methodist by faith.
Thomas was a lifetime member of Burnham Fire Co. and Burnham Lions Club. He ran the Burnham pool. He enjoyed going to baseball games and he especially enjoyed time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Yeagertown United Methodist Church, 7 N. Mann Ave., Yeagertown with Rev. Carola Beasley-Topliffe officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.
