Robin H. Skillman, 63, died at 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at his home.
Born Nov. 9, 1951 in Lewistown he was a son of the late Thomas G. Skillman, Sr. and Marilyn (Hetrick) Skillman, who survives.
Also surviving are: his wife, Fayetta (Sloyer) Skillman, whom he married on Feb. 28, 1991; his step-children, Steven Sloyer, Keith, Monnie and Jessie Rhodes; his siblings, Thomas Skillman, Jr. and wife, Holly, of Canada, David Skillman and wife, Dawn, of Illinois, Martie Skillman, of New Jersey, George Skillman and wife, Sharon, of Maryland; two half-sisters, Mary (Brannon) Booher and husband, Chuck of Oxford and Lauran (Brannon) Mowery and husband, Patrick, of Mechanicsburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Robin served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a 1969 graduate of Lewistown High School.
Robin was employed by Kinsley Construction, York.
He enjoyed NASCAR and fishing.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1 at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown with Pastor David Skillman and Rev. Robert Zorn officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. Sat. at the funeral home.
Interment with VFW Post 7011 honors will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made in Robin’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
