Robert G. Hockenberry, Jr.

Robert G. Hockenberry, Jr., 54, of Lewistown died at 7:22 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at his home.

Born Oct. 16, 1961 in Lewistown he was a son of Sandra (Price) Peck and the late Robert G. Hockenberry, Sr.

In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his step-father, Fred Peck.

Bob is survived by: his mother; Sandra Peck; his wife, Sherry (Osborne) Hockenberry; his children, Kristen Peck, of Winchester, Virginia; Christopher Pham and wife, Amber, of McVeytown, Nicole Hockenberry-Bohn and husband, Anthony, of Reedsville, Delaina Hockenberry and Dustyn Hockenberry, both of Port Royal; three step-children, Daniel Howell, Jr. and wife, April,  Amber Heimbach and husband, Nick, both of Lewistown and Tasha McCaulley and husband, Jay, of Granville; nine grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; his siblings, Joey Hockenberry, of Lewistown, David Peck and Michael Peck, both of Winchester, Virginia.

He was employed at Energex as a heavy equipment operator.

Bob attended the Old Fashion Baptist Church, Ferguson Valley.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, painting, gold panning, building model cars and four wheeling. Bob also enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an excellent husband, father, grandfather and friend.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23 at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown with Rev. John Walters officiating.

A viewing will be held from 6 – 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Lind Memorial Cemetery.
