Ricky Lain Frick

Ricky Lain Frick, 61, of Lewistown died at 4:45 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at Hershey Medical Center.

Born on Nov. 13, 1953 in Lewistown he was a son of the late Eli C. and Alma M. (Smith) Frick.

In addition to his parents Ricky was also preceded in death by a sister, Nancy L. Coffman.

He is survived by: his wife, Jolene (Colyer) Frick whom he married in Aug. 2005; his children, Lainie A. Steele and husband, James, of Wrightsville, John E. Frick and wife, Lauren, of Willow Street, Ricky Carson, of State College, Stephanie Frick, of Lancaster County, and step-daughter, Nichol Sheridan and husband, Martin, of State College; his siblings, Rose Kennedy and husband, Lloyd, of Marietta, Ellen Mitchell and husband, John, of Lewistown, William C. Frick and wife, Bonnie, of Lewistown, Sandra K. Porch and husband, Leslie “Jack”, of Granville, Eli F. Frick and companion, Evelyn Anderson, of Mt. Joy, Terry E. Frick, of Mifflin, and Russell T. Frick, of Granville; seven grandchildren,  Amanda, Emily, and Izabella Steele, Rowan Sheridan, Brayton Frick, Joseph Sheridan, and John Frick.

Ricky graduated from Donegal High School and worked as a tower construction cell phone worker at Capital Towers.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking family meals, baking for the holidays, Penn State and poker. He loved his grandchildren very much and enjoyed family get togethers and family fishing. He was a devoted family man and Izabella called him “far away ‘Pappy’“.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m.  Tuesday, April 28 at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown with Rev. Douglas D. Sherlock, Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 2:00 p.m.  Tuesday at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
