Penny A. Nepper, 57, of Lewistown, passed away unexpectedly at 7:47 p.m., Thursday, April 12, 2018, in Yeagertown.
Born Jan. 18, 1961, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Harold G. and Kathryn (McClintic) Nepper.
She is survived by: her daughter, Heather Secrest, of Lewistown; companion, Carl Secrest; a stepson, Rodger Nepper, of Middleburg; and siblings, Brenda Foose, of Port Royal, Pamela Colyer and husband, Homer, of Milroy, James Nepper and wife, Wendy, and Ronald Nepper and wife, Jill, both of Burnham, and Eric Kunkel, of Lewistown; and many nephews and nieces.
Penny graduated from Kishacoquillas High School, Class of 1979, and from South Hills Business School, where she earned a degree in marketing management and accounting.
Penny worked at Scotty’s Fashions for many years. She was employed by NuVisions in Lewistown and assigned as a photo identification technician at the PennDOT Driver License Center, Yeagertown.
Penny was a loving mother, sister, aunt and a great friend. She loved her dog, Moses, and spending time with him.
A viewing will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Wednesday., April 18, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., April 18, at the funeral home, with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
Interment will take place in Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
