Nola J. Hartsock, 79, of Lewistown, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Ohesson Manor.
Born Nov. 15, 1938, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Sarah E. (Limes) Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: an infant son, Marcus Scott; and her two brothers, Thomas and David Jones.
She is survived by: children, Carl L. Hartsock and wife, Stacy, of Reedsville, and April A. Patton and husband, Michael, of Lewistown; six grandchildren, Amanda, Dustin, Dexter, Erin, Lindsey and Nikki; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Nola graduated from Lewistown High School, Class of 1957.
She was Methodist by faith.
Nola was employed by the Mifflin County School District for 30 years as a fiscal technician and was a member of the Mifflin County School District retirees. After retiring, she enjoyed performing volunteer work with various groups and assisting with community service projects.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 16, at the funeral home, with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
