Nellie J. (Krotzer) Miller

Nellie J. Miller, 91, of Lewistown died at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at her home.

Born May 29, 1924 in Strodes Mills she was a daughter of the late Foster H. and Alta (Rhone) Krotzer.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: three brothers and six sisters; her husband, Roy I. Miller, Sr. who died Aug. 2, 1980; and her daughter, Joyce Harris.

Nellie is survived by: her children, Roy I. Miller, Jr., and wife, Brenda, Banks C. Miller, Danny K. Miller and wife, Peg, Nancy Seese and husband, Kerm, Lee R. Miller, all of Lewistown, Tim I. Miller, of Lock Haven, Michael Miller and wife, Charolette and Richard Miller, both of Lewistown; a sister, Violet Smith, of Lewistown; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Earlier in life she had worked at Empire Kosher for ten years.

She had attended First Baptist Church in Lewistown and was a former Ladies Auxiliary member of the Moose Lodge.

Nellie enjoyed bingo and going to flea markets.

Per her request there will be no viewing. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
