Maxine E. Leeper, 62, of McClure, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at her home.
Born August 17, 1952 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Jennie (Aitkins) Goss of McClure
and the late Max Goss. Her husband, Anthony "Tony" G. Leeper, whom she married June
13, 1971, survives. Also surviving: a daughter, Amanda E. Batt and husband Dwayne of Vira, the love of her
life, grandson Ian Batt; brothers, Randy Goss and wife Gloria of Keota, OK, Duane Goss and
wife Deb and Glen Goss and wife Thelma all of McClure and a sister-in-law, Sis Leeper of
Middletown.
She was a 1970 graduate of Chief Logan High School and was employed at American Viscose,
Scotty's Fashions and Woodmode.
Maxine enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid lighthouse collector.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Heller-Hoenstine
Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown with the Rev. Michael Bailey officiating.
Interment will be in Vira Methodist Cemetery.
Family will receive from 2:00 Saturday until time of service at the funeral home.
